JAWS Appoints VP Sales & Marketing

JAWS Technologies Inc. (NASD-OTC BB: "JAWZ") is pleased to announce that
the Company has appointed Mr. Mitch Tarr as Vice President of Sales and
Marketing.
Mr. Tarr brings almost 20 years of sales, marketing, and management
experience to JAWS Technologies. He has worked in the computer,
high-tech and software fields with companies such as IBM Corporation,
ADR (a subsidiary of Ameritech Inc.) and AccuMap EnerData Corp. His
expertise will allow JAWS Technologies Inc. to quickly build top-level
sales and distribution channels to deliver JAWS products to market. Mr.
Tarr will be instrumental in managing the product roll-out as well as
the $5,000,000 "Break the Code" Contest.
