What a Difference a Day Makes
Posted by Christopher Manion on January 20, 2010 10:04 AM

Ted Kennedy defeated Republican George Cabot Lodge in the 1962 election with 55% of the vote. The next day he was sworn in as a member of the U.S. Senate by Vice president Lyndon Baines Johnson. (The seat had been filled since JFK’s inauguration in 1961 by a Kennedy family friend who had been appointed by the governor).

So when will Scott Brown be sworn in, I wonder?
