Is Powerwave Technology (PWAV) on Lucent's acquisition or purchase list? I have heard that Lucent recently conducted an audit of Powerwave's production facility, and was wondering if anyone knew if this audit was an evaluation for purchasing PWAV's amps or if there was possibly a takeover in the works? I follow both stocks, so this is of double interest to me. I can tell you that Powerwave is the premiere manufacturer of power amps for the wireless industry, so if they're taken over by Lucent it would be a smart move, but both PWAV and LU have been quiet since this supposed audit took place. Thoughts?
