Four US soldiers killed in Baghdad Fri Aug 3, 4:56 AM ET

Four more American soldiers have been killed in the Iraqi capital in two separate attacks, the US military said on Friday.

Three were killed and 11 others wounded when a roadside bomb exploded against an armoured patrol vehicle in eastern Baghdad on Thursday. Four of the wounded have since returned to duty.

Another soldier was killed and three more were wounded while operating in western Baghdad on Thursday, but the military provided no further details.

The latest deaths bring US losses in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion to 3,660, according to an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
