I'm about to purchase a mobile trading PC.... I'm looking at the 9100 series from gateway. Its a big one, but then I need all the screen real estate I can get. 14.1" active matrix (1200x1024)....the screen is the most important option for me. 4-8 gig disk space....I'll go with 4 most likely 64 Meg RAM DVD ROM 56K V.90 233-300Mhz.....will most likely go for 233 or maybe 266 This setup will squeeze about 4 KillKeys on one side of the screen, and allow me to view my chat screen, a chart window and my Quicken window on the other. Opinions? Sounds pretty neat, especially given the fact that I do quite allot of my trading away from my trading desk. PS:I just cant justify quiting the day job....not until daytrading can pay better (doing OK lately). I want to have 400K equity. Maybe 500K. Privat Message me if you can shed light/experiences here.
