Robert that's exactly right and exactly my point.
I won't disagree that DDIM was able to make it's projected 10 or 20 cents when they said they would. But making 20 cents and making $2.00 is one is apples and oranges. Going from 10 cents to 20 cents is a little different than going from 20 cents to $1.00.

If they were making 10 and 20 cents and the stock was trading at $8.00 that is one thing. They are doing 20 cents but the price already reflects not 20 cents but valuations well over $1.00.

Expectations is one thing but this reminds me of investing in gold mines and oil wells sight unseen:-)

This is why I made the analogy that DDIM was like paying 20 million for a hot dog stand that is generating $10,000 a year in revenue.
Hey... it they make the playoffs.. hot dog sales could skyrocket...

The company is generating revenue but its nickel and dime stuff ( or should I say 10 and 20 cent stuff)when compared to what your paying for that revenue generating asset called the company.

If you want to buy a company that can generate 20 cents/ quarter i can find you one for one h@ll of a lot less then the nearly 1/2 billion they say DDIM is worth.

What's really total loony tunes here is that everyone knows the damn company is virtually out of business in 3 years.

Talking about buying pie in the sky here folks... my goodness

I've heard of a herd mentality on wall street these days but just because some analyst says this thing is going higher dosn't make it so.
I remember when netscape went public and some clown annalyst projected it as a $1000.00 stock. Yep .. not a hundred.. a thousand... and... 4 rears later... they control 70% of the market... but still are not out of the red. Maybe if they get 80% of the market they will make billions...yeah... that's the ticket..... my god... give me a break!

I like netscape but I'm just trying to show how analysts can throw all kinds of dribble around and make it sound like a good deal... heck.. that's their job.

Now... take an old favorite BRE-X

At least with BRE-X you have a hole in a mountain somewhere :-)

I can take my familty there and say honey... we own a peice of this hole.... we can picnic here and say we
OWN A PEICE OF THE ROCK :-)

It's really nuts I tell you....

With DDIM you have zip.... it's cuput in 3 years and some folks think its a hell of a buy now today at only 400 million. I need to sell these people some of my stuff:-)

Heck... buy my company... I'll make you 20 cents /quarter and I'll guarantee you I will be around in the year 2001. You can own my company for 300 million less... what a deal.. it's on sale today and today only for only 100 milllion... besides
I'll be making much more than DDIM in 2001,2002 and beyond :-)
