Dear Gregor and Jeff, the "new thread" would have to be all my fault, and I would take all blame. Anyway, I am only considering it, since SI is a hi-tech vehicle already set up to show up worldwide under subject. How do I know? I was searching a subject and found MY OWN post in SI. How about that? Again, it was metacrawler, but seemed to be the whole web. I'm praying about every single thing I do because the God's truth, the absolute truth is that I would rather completely withdraw from the front room and refuse to step over rotting elephants all day long. But it seems the era of rotting elephant spotters is alive and well.
Will continue to pray about it and see if I get a divine kick to either continue or drop all such thoughts immediately.
But I urge all to continue to pray for Afganistan's present leadership. It seems so important that it must be God's will that the men in place there now have been chosen by God for this time. All of them seem capable of having an interest in Jesus Christ, although to do so, you must understand, is a form of paganism to them, since they KNOW that Jesus Christ is NOT Allah, the Father God, and Jesus Christ is the first to so instruct, and totally agree. His very last words were, and I quote: "I go now to the FATHER..."
John saw Jesus Christ, the Lamb, standing at the right side of the Father's throne.
Jesus Christ admonished his most beloved and closest friends to not call HIM good, since there was none good BUT THE FATHER.
Therefore, we either have a hopelessly confused God who cannot understand His own identity, and is in fact only one person, and calls Himself two, or we can simply accept scripture as written and use this to help poor honest muslims to cash in on the unspeakable peace joy and happiness of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of us, not Lord of Father God.
Also, if Jesus Christ was actually God,period, then God actually died. For almost days. Who brought Him back to life? Himself?
I hope I'm not offending anyone here, but somehow in our devotion to Christ we have negatated much of His purpose for being here--which was simply to bring us to a real knowledge of the One who sent Him.
What convinced me was the scripture, "The Lord said to my Lord..." (Zacharaiah, I think. That seemed strange. Confusing.
Looking up both "lords" in the Strongs, one clearly sees one is Father God and one is the Anointed One, Jesus Christ. Without whom it is impossible to receive the Holy Spirit. You will see that the word Lord is used in two exclusive meanings, two separate hebrew words, and one is Father God, one is Jesus Christ, the Anointed of God. I only discuss this because the lines are now so blurred in this country to even hint Jesus is physically separate from, and actually stands BESIDE a being given more importance than Himself in heaven seems to make some people spiritually furious, they begin to frown and shout and act as if this literal discussion of scripture is a form of blasphemy, that to accept Jesus Christ as He presents Himself is actually DENEGRATING and DEMEANING to the Savior...I wonder if He finds this as bizarre as I do.
This is just so strange when you really think about it. But again, I rant. But it seems worth ranting about.
