Anyone catch the chimp Nero's press conference this morning? I imagine few Americans pay him any mind any more, other than fervently hoping he'd just somehow disappear when he does register on their consciousness. Amidst the usual predictable misdirection and BS, Bush said that he expected Pakistan's Musharaff to conduct "free and fair elections"! I have to wonder WHY Bush thinks "free and fair elections" in Pakistan will give us someone more in line with our interests than the current leader? It is kind of a deja vu experience with the admin's expectations for the Palestinian elections..
