Guess the Judge knew more about the nomenclature used within the PC industry than Reg this time.

Why did Intel the monopoly, foster competition yet Microsoft the monopoly, effectively end it? Could be that is what this whole case is about. Hardware margins are dirt-thin yet plenty of competition -- software margins are fat yet no competition. How can that be? Competitive market forces would tend to enter areas of fat margins unless there is a barrier...
