This guy has just coasted through life it seems.

I would slice the facts a little differently. Obama has given over 400 speeches since he became Prez. They may not have been effective, but they are work. I think you have to differentiate salesmanship from actual work-work. Obama will do the first, but the second just isn't in his range. That's why he tried to pass health care by making speeches about it rather than by doing the work effective Presidents do to shepherd legislation through Congress.
