Here is a little bit from the 9/10 article that is interesting:

The Landover, Md., company, named after the daughter of Chairman Jeong Kim, has a contract with AT&T under which the company will buy $10 million of Yurie products each year through December 1998, while SplitRock has agreed to spend $20 million more over the same span. Carr says a recent deal with Lucent Technologies Inc. will
make it Yurie's largest customer. Other deals are pending.
