So, you think that North Korea may under certain conditions agree to give up their nukes… Personally, I doubt it. I am an expert neither on the region nor on the subject, but giving up nukes sounds to me out of character. Nukes are the great equalizer… imo, they’ll want to keep them. I think that North Korean bosses would – in their own way – prove to be responsible owners of nukes. They live like gods… The way I see it, they’d rather be alive gods than dead gangsters. (This is the reason the old Soviet Politburo handled their nukes relatively responsibly). Saddam and/or al Qaeda, on the other hand, if they manage to obtain nuclear weapons would be much more likely to use them in an aggressive way.
