Ron Paul defends liberty in nine minutes on 'Tonight Show'

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, was interviewed for almost nine minutes last night on NBC's "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno -- a nationwide broadcast. Paul talked about Austrian economics, sound money, defending the Constitution and civil liberty, limited government, repealing the federal income tax, correcting the U.S. mistake in Iraq, and generally terminating the U.S. empire and its needless expense.

Leno worried that, under a Paul administration, the government might not have enough money. Paul replied that the people would have the money instead -- their own.
