To All: Cabletron announces the purchase of Yago, a Gigabit/router switch company(of which they already own 25%). Expect products to hit in 1st half of 1998. Also announced they will present their Layer 3 plans at DC trade show end of January. Is Yago going to provide CS with products to compete with the Accelar 1000 line? Separately, I heard the guys on CNBC this afternoon say there are rumors on the street that Bay will do better than expected when they announce on Tuesday due to the strong market in Europe that Intel referenced in their conf. call yesterday. Hope this hype doesn't raise expectations to a level where we get another sell-off on good numbers like we saw in October. Paul
