It's just too bad we didn't make the same national decision France did after the last "oil crisis." Of course I like their way of doing this better then ours with all of their plants being the same unlike ours with just about each being a unique design. Makes it much simpler both from a training aspect but also a plant safety aspect. Have a problem with a valve or whatever and you can do a nation wide change out. Walla, fixed.

I think even the original head of Greenpeace has now admitted that their aversion to Nuclear power was wrong. Basically forced us to build CO2 emitting plants.

We will never have sanity however as long as the nuts can use the courts to stop all energy improvements. Where is that refinery that was all set to add capacity that the wacko's just got an injunction stopping them. It's just simply unreal.

There will come a tipping point though. Not sure if it's 5 dollar gas or 6 or what, but there will be an energy revolt here somewhere along the line. Why McCain isn't hammering on this issue 24/7 is a mystery to me.
