i actually like the core of coms, i do not like the usrx part. i sold my coms yesterday after holding it a short time. modem technology is changing quickly with cable and dsl moving in. whether the 56k standard will allow for coms to straighten out usrx, won't be known immediately. the 12 billion is current market value, a buyout would be closer to 15-18 billion. i believe a possible suitor would be frightened off by the usrx side. i posted recently on the coms thread about the atm acquisitions coms made, and the positives that involve. i would expect asnd to be more attractive because asnd represents a less mature area, and thus more possible growth.
