I will not trash trash Shawn, made no mention of his unworthiness, do not beleive he owes me anything, and do not beleive this is his thread even though he started it.

This was an inappropriate comment by you, IMHO. I am not here to self promote myself and neither are the others. I am not on an ego trip nor are they. I am not after attention, affection, or rewards (except Dorothy's wonderful cookies and brownies) and neither are the others.
We do not need to move to another thread even though a very useful technical thread does exist for both charting and lithography. Neither thread is hyped here on this thread. The individuals you mentioned and the ones unmentioned are acting in a spirit of community.
You, yourself, put me on the spot a few days ago asking for a "pick" which was relunctantly given (not my style). You did well on it. My time on this thread at an inappropriate time made me overlook a buying opportunity on a stock that went up from 25-33 this week. I feel bad about it for both myself and for the people on this thread that I could have reached. But it is water under the bridge.
If Shawn were offended by what I or others said, he would have made appropriate comments back. He did not, which means he accepted the comments in the fashion they were made, graciously.
We have a difference of opinion and that is all there is to it. No opinion needs to be changed and no one is right or wrong. G-d bless the Bill of Rights and the Freedom of Speech we enjoy as Americans. |
