No "99.9+%" fits those people perfectly. They made a transaction that gave them something they wanted. In terms of subjective utility they benefited.

That doesn't mean they will always think it was a good deal. The free market is a great system but participants in it don't have crystal balls to see the future. My 99.9+% point concerns the time the deal was made, not how future changes or new information might cause someone to later change their mind.
