Pray what makes you think we have no vision for the company? >flat (but large sales) with low profit. SGI's profitability is not `low'. SGI just merged with Cray, and took exceptional charges for the R10K mishapp. It is my feeling we'll be able to swallow the merger (in the financial figures, that is) in the previous two quarters, which would be quite an achievement, given Cray's size. Don't stare at the wrong set of figures for too long. >Generally the employees do not see a vision for the company at a time >when their core business is going through a change. You'll note you start a sentence with `if', then base your actions as if your supposition were a fact. Given this I will I can assure you everyone at SGI knows what to do. We don't have hordes of engineers without work waiting for the next rightsizing. At least I can assure you that is true.
