What cracks me up is that John and I are both pretty conservative people and both of us have historically called ourselves Republican. It just shows how far and fast the value of the Republican party has fallen when people on these threads start calling people like John and I liberals. It's tough to admit when the leaders of the party you identify with have failed you. You want to badmouth all those within the party who bring attention to it. It's a natural impulse and I understand it.

However, at what point do the conservative Republican constituency start looking at their leaders and decide they won't jump off the bridge with them? Use your critical thinking, folks, and let's start demanding good leaders, whatever party you subscribe to.
