If Windows Messenger bugs you as it does me;

There are many ways to get rid of this thing. But here's the easy way: Find the Messenger folder in Windows Explorer (It's probably C:\Program Files\Messenger.). Right-click the folder and select Rename. Change it to Messengerx. Windows Messenger won't be able to start. If you decide later that you want Windows Messenger, restore the name.
