Had friends who were caught on their way to work from the Battery that 9/11 morn. The wife was caught in the subway station of the 2nd bldg to go down. Cops got her and others out. A few blocks away she grabbed a light pole to shield herself from being stomped to death in the stampede. the ground was littered with personal affects, shoes, purses, jackets, dropped by the fleeing people. she held on to the pole, looking up, trying to figure out what it was that was hurling down from the building and landing with these sick wet smacks on the first floor roof of adjacent buildings. it was the people jumping. she and her husband have relocated to a house in Long Island. The media never talks about people jumping to avoid the fire. One couple went holding hands. i saw it once, in the original footage, real time, as it happened. A pox on the MSM for hiding it and so much else.
