I am basically long too..LEAPS that is. So I am not worried about them. But I do have about a quarter of my investments shorter term and they have basically done well. In fact, the 10/80s I am talking about are profit from some Intel options I bought a while back at $3. Part of me is intrigued by the "game", part of me, the practical side, wants to protect what I have already accomplished - hence the clash.
