A card is not an environment. I've never been asked for the card outside of applying for various documents at government agencies (driver's license, licquor license, etc.), and it's currently at home in a desk drawer. Anyway, yeah, I'm comfortable in that environment.

Moralistically, I thought Dubai was more like Hong Kong, but now it sounds more like Singapore.

Start thinking the other way again. Hong Kong is tame compared to Dubai. As I wrote, the prohibition laws (for Muslims) exist, but are not enforced.
