DownSouth,

We're looking forward to your interpretation (long-term effects) of the SUNW product offerings. Is this a discontinuous innovation against NTAP by SUNW?

Based upon your post, it sounds like this has the likely effect of taking (1) market share & (2) pricing power away from NTAP. Am I way off base? "Yes" would be an acceptable answer! <g>

Any thoughts on why EMC didn't feel the pain? You mentioned the price discrepancy between the SUNW & EMC product offerings. I would have thought EMC would have gone down.

You had a great summary on the SUNW appearance. Please don't tell us that Christensen is going to use NTAP as an example of discontinuous invention in his next book! <g>

Thanks for all of your great info!
