Mr Mark,
Thanks for the response, AVG destroyed whatever was in there so I can't check it but from what your machines say I feel pretty sure that my file wasn't on the up&up. I shudder to think of all the things my computer has been doing for these past few months under my nose when I just thought AOL was slow, guess I owe them an apology.
