GRF 1600 & GRF 400 comparative performance vs CSCO's 7513 RSP2 & RSP4
Test Highlights:
1) ASND GRF 1600 aggregate Fast Ethernet throughput is more than 262% of the CSCO 7513 w/ RSP4 (Route Switch Processor).

2) The GRF performance doesn't significantly degrade when forwarding packets to varying IP destination addresses.

3) The GRF provides forward performance that scales linearly up to the full capacity of the chassis.

4) The GRF 1600 & GRF 400 perform identically on a per module basis, up to the limit of the GRF 400 chassis capacity of 4 modules (GRF 1600's capacity is 16 modules).

The test is carried out by the Tolly Group in 7/97.
