well - pat yourself on the back. I'm not meaning to be the grinch anti-mac here but what does a PC circa 1984 have in common with a 1996 PC? They are totally different - alas poor mac - you remain the same!

I owned a SE/30 and enjoyed it and sure it was better than the current PC of the day - but as hard as it may sound to some of you - creative and articistic types do not use only macs - If you look at the entire computer outlay of hardware and software in the world which has transformed the world in such a short time - Apple is a little, little part of this big picture. The most innovative companies in the world are here in the US and yes they can live and be successful without apple and they are not missing out on procuctive or artistic endeavors.

I think most of your arguments for the pro mac platform are based on 10 year old perceptions - I hate to think that this is the only thing Apple has going for it. And as far as that evangelist@macway .com -
Guy Kawasaki --- GET A JOB!!!! youve been beating a dead horse for 10 years - do something real.

come on !
