Re: The political process Unfortunately the DoJ has only itself to blame here. MSFT was the most apolitical of entities before it became clear that it had to join the lobbying ranks and take a more active role in the political process. As in most areas of business, MSFT has proven to be a quick study. The sleeping giant has been awakened and MSFT lobbying will now be a permanent fixture in Washington and elsewhere. Welcome to the new world.
