They absolutely do. So if you want a stock with a great balance sheet look
at GE or Citicorp. Don't talk yourself into weakling, also-ran CSRV on the
grounds that it has a teensy weensy bit more value than at least one other stock
you can think of.

As for story stocks, you're right to be skeptical, but that doesn't mean
that fairy tales don't come true once upon a time.

The point is to know which kind of stock you're buying and use the
evaluation tools that are relevant to that case.
