Just wanted to update my problem with Ameritrade.

Chris Johnson contacted the trading desk, and they refused to do anything so he went higher. He contacted a Vice President and I was subsequently offered 10 free trades or a years real time quotes, as I have useful real time quotes from Datek and Ameritrade is so slow with their server I wouldn't even consider the free realtime quotes. I consider an offer of 10 free trades ($80) as an admission of being at fault, but an insult to my intellegence. Had I of been notified properly I would have bought the stock back at a level near the price I sold it for. But by friday I was out $1840.

Chris informed me on Monday afternoon that he had spoken to the President of Ameritrade and that he was checking a database to confirm times of trade order, execution, and cancel. He has not gotten back to me now for two days.

To put it bluntly, I have made somewhere around a dozen trades with Ameritrade, one was a marketable limit order that sat from 9:45 am all day with out executing then there was this one that cost me large. I will be notifying NASD, the SEC and the State of Oregon. Of my problems with Ameritrade if they can't solve this to my satisfaction soon.
