Well, there are indeed very few women brokers in the business, especially VSE. And yes, I have heard that tale about that particular broker, but it has happened to many men as well. In the end, when you do a deal the firm can play all kinds of games with broker warrants, etc. but I haven't seen too many of these types of shenanigans in the past few years...maybe when business is really bad again...as for ATF, I said that it COULD be forming a bull flag. Because it did not open higher on friday morning, and proceeded to crater to support level 1, it actually formed an inside day, making it possible that this is the first of a 2-4 day pull back. That's what I'm watching for now. Yes, I find charts work just dandy, regardless of the fundamentals. News releases are useful insofar as we need to know when they are expected because of possible trading halts. We don't want to be halted. If a stock runs up by a large percentage before an expected release, we have seen a large amount of selling into the news lately. If there was good news with an unexpected news release, such as the first drill hole of a program which no one cares about, then you can generally buy the release... |
