I apologize for the inaccuracy of that last message. It appears that my earnings source didn't tell me the great effect that the advance of the American dollar had on Cannondale earnings! It appears that the actual growth rate is holding steady (perhaps even increasing) at 18% a year or so. At the current p/e of 13, it appears that I was grossly wrong. Also, I can't help but wonder what will happen if the dollar starts to come back down again... that could make Cannondale earnings look pretty fat!

Like I said, I'm a big Cannondale fan, so I'm going to start following the stock a little more seriously now... it seems like it might be a good opportunity to get in somewhere around here. Thoughts?

If people are actually reading this, does anyone object to me starting a new Cannondale thread? There are 2 reasons for this:

1.) It's hard to see this thread when looking for Cannondale. It starts with a "T" and people generally look in the C's.

2.) The opening remark that everyone sees when they click on this thread makes Cannondale appear to be just a mountain bike producer. Their mountain bikes rock, but they have been making accesseries much longer, and lately they are taking the road bike market by storm! (Just look at the Indurain story.)

Does anyone object? Otherwise, I'll start another thread soon...

Cheers! It's about 92 degrees in Central Virginia, so I'm inside typing on this damn computer... in muggy ol' VA, the virtual heat index is 105! Wowee Zowee!
