I thought the price of gas would have a negative impact on retail and travel (CTRP, SHLD and OMX). For the others, I ran a very basic screen using MSN deluxe screener, 3mo, 6mo and 12mo relative strength > 80 and price to sales ratio greater than 7 (looking for the momentum stocks). This shows quite a few REIT's from which I selected PSA and SLG and some miscellaneous others (HITT, EXBD and NG). If the market tanks, the momentum stocks get punished.
