Give Me What You Owe Me! -- By: Victor Davis Hanson By webmaster@nationalreview.com (Victor Davis Hanson) A spendthrift and near broke (again) Argentina is now (again) clamoring for the Malvinas and damning those awful (but also now broke) Brits for exploring for oil around their colonial outposts on the Falklands. The broke Greeks are still waiting for the German bailouts, and, in restlessness, blame the hesitating Germans for the Nazi occupation of some 65 years ago (if you won't give us a bailout, then call it more war reparations). Two observations in the new global blame-gaming for out of control spending: Somehow "Bush did it" hasn't come up; and what foreign monster can we Americans guilt-trip for our self-inflicted miseries?
