In that case a Zip won't help you much anyway. The first thing that you should be able to get to when there's a problem with your computer is your BIOS setup. When there's the memory check right when you turn your computer on you get the option of going to the BIOS setup where you can change certain things like where to boot from. If you can't get to that...well, there's some problem with your motherboard, video card, or some other critical thing and you won't be able to boot up anyway. I would think that the Zip recovery stuff is most useful when there's some software problem (or hard drive problem) that keeps you from booting properly.

Of course, I'm referring only to PC's here.
