Shoulda known I'd never catch you in a slip like that - thought it was worth a try, though.
I keep the 5-1/4 around cuz once in a while (less and less all the time) someone shows up with one, so I try to be able to read about anything... probably have to get a ZIP before long (when they're $29). Actually, there is a problem in Win95 recognizing more than 2 floppies (no problem in NT). Tries to load a DOS compatibility mode driver, but it doesn't work. Have to run all floppies in DOS compatibility mode to get them to work under WIN95. I've got an engineering BIOS on my motherboard, so I can define just about anything I want down there. Can't wait for Microsoft to abandon Win95/98 and go with strictly NT-based platforms. Supposedly Win98 will be the last non NT release.
My best guess at this point is that things are going to be surprisingly quiet tomorrow ahead of earnings. I think everybody's gonna just hang on for the earnings report. I'm leaning in that direction myself at this point. In less there's a dramatic move up at the open, I think we'll see relatively sedate trading tomorrow. If Revenues come in above $35mil, we'll see strong buying on Tuesday. It's always amazing how a company will turn in strong earnings (i.e. IOM) and go down, while a company will have substantial losses (i.e. MSEL, SYQT) and actually go up. I think all the focus on SYQT will be on revenue - how much are they actually selling - and little on expense, unless it's extrordinarily high (> 50 mil)
