The article is about oral zinc. End of story. Receptors are the nasal epithelial ICAM. Easier to get to where the viruses are with nasal spray directly. End of story.

True end of story: within 8-12 weeks, either real science or real bomb. We shall see.

The comment about other metals is, frankly, as sound as substituting pennies for quarters in a coke machine because they are both metal. Chemistrywise, some ions are related (halogens, for example) but humans are a bit more complex than flasks and metal ion co-cofactors are often VERY specific,as was demonstrated in the post I put in a few months ago from Blood (it was about zinc and effects on blood vessels).

I am not going to get into this argument since it is basically a question of does it work (Zicam does) versus how, when, & where is it absorbed. I am banking on peer-reviewed articles showing it does work. Others may want to bank on peer-reviewed journals not publishing these studies.

Let the chips fall where they may. If you want to rehash old arguments, just go back to July 4 or so on this thread and read on to present. That is what I tell prospective longs to do because on this shorters thread, the longs have some of the best dd available.
