Hi Eddie..>>Does any one know how much the sales of Groupwise accounts
for Novell's total revenue? I know in '95 it was around 5%.<<

1995

Groupwise Sales = 72M
Total Sales = 2041M (this includes WP and Unix: about 500M)

1996

Q1 = 21M
Q2 = 32M (Not reported but was mentioned in the conference call with the analysts on 5/29/96)
Q3 = not reported (I suspect it wasn't that great, but they said in the conference call on 8/22/96 it was higher than 95-Q3 which was 19M), I would guess it was around 20M

I would say for FY-96, Groupwise sales are 100M - 105M
Total Revenues about 1500M (excluding WP & Unix, and including channel inventory reduction of 200M - 225M)

1997

According to the company:

GroupWise sales will increase by 75%, this results in sales of 170M - 180M

Total sales will grow by 15% to say 1700M to 1800M.

If all the above is true, then GroupWise will be about 10% of total sales.

Regards

Salah
