Dear Gregor, my net was down for 2 days, but it seems for certain this little boy has already recovered.
When the centurion came to Jesus with the sick friend, the centurion was not a follower of Jesus. He just knew in his heart Jesus was who he said. The centurion leaned completely on Jesus, trusting nothing of himself or even doubting that Jesus would not respond to him. And he was a Roman at that.
When Jesus heard him speak, the Lord replied so happily, "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Isreal."
There are lifelong ritual Christians who do not even believe in the ability of prayer to God in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of God to heal human sickness right now.
And Jesus said unto this Centurian,: Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.
And the Centurian's beloved servant was healed in that moment the Bible records.
