All the word I've gotten (although it is front end and not back end) is that in Hsinchu the damage to equipment is pretty much nonexistent. Hard to imagine a wire bonder is more sensitive than a stepper (of course bonders probably don't have much in the way of vibration isolation!)

If anything this could slow down a shipment or two while they get things fired back up. I don't see any upside to the quake.
