It's hard for me to imagine many world leaders coming out and saying that they want Kerry to win rather than Bush. The Mullahs in Iran, sure. The new Socialist prime minister of Spain, no surprise. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Castro overtly favored Kerry, either.

Speaking out against an incumbent president of another country isn't a wise move if you are in any way beholden to that president, who has at least until January 2005, and may well have until January 2009, as the leader of the strongest country on earth, which makes him, by virtue of his office, the most powerful man on earth.

So, even if anyone actually said what Kerry says they said, they certainly wouldn't appreciate Kerry "outing" them, and he knows that.
