The way I look at that situation, I would be tempted to just sit still until the July expiration. You would then get the full $3.50. I always get into trouble when I try to buy and change the original reasoning.

I bought some more OIH today at about 64.75, and immediately wrote April 65's for 3.20. I will surely be called out of my March 60's and be looking to reapply those funds next week..

I tend to write too soon also.
