Open TV................................... inside-cable.co.uk August 1998 BSkyB CONFIRMS OPENTV PLATFORM DECISION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BSkyB has confirmed that it is to use the OpenTV operating system for Sky Digital Satellite, which is due to be launched on October 1st. OpenTV provides its digital interactive television system to Television Par Satellite (TPS) in France, Telia in Sweden, TeleDanmark Kabel in Denmark, and has future launches committed with Via Digital in Spain and Stream in Italy.
