There might be an easier way to do this, if so some of the real gurus here will probably jump in and let us know.

Or if you know somebody who has already installed Windows 98 borrow or make a copy of his/her startup disk. The startup disk contains all of the necessary files for accessing the majority of IDE and SCSI CDROMs. The startup disk even contains config.sys and autoexec.bat files that will load the appropriate drivers for IDE or SCSI CD-ROMs.
