I’m not going to spend any time here debating what the label means, or whether it applies to Obama (or to Republican politicians who supported the bailout of corporate America). But it’s a lot easier to argue that Obama is a socialist than it is to argue he is a Muslim. He is not a Muslim. He does not espouse Islamic ideas about the family, the economy, or anything else. If he were a Muslim, he would definitely be on his way to hell. In his financial dealings, he does not adhere to Sharia restrictions on interest. He supports abortion on demand and gay rights. He drinks alcohol, even in public. He eats (and probably smokes) during the daytime in Ramadan. His wife appears in public with bare arms. He lets himself be photographed and drawn in pictures.
