ALTIF has just filed a S-3/A (an amendment to the S-3 previously filed by Altair on Feb 3, 1998). Altair is now officially estimating that the # of shares which can be received by the debenture-holders (on conversion) is 591,139 (based on a discount to the current price). This figure was previously estimated at 359,223. The registration for selling 100k shares (in the future) by MRBT Trust (trust established for the Benefit of Bill Long's children) is unchanged. The rest of the filing is routine stuff. Regards. Rajiv
