GW's hydrogen suggestion is very suspect. It's a small amount spread over many years, may have big strings attached and he didn't predict we'd have a hydrogen car until 2020. By that time he'll be fat on oil profits from his many sweetheart deals. We could move much faster and more seriously. Oil itself is becoming a problem that must be dealt with, not just here but globally. And the crazier the Arabs get, the more pressing it is to get off the noxious juice. I'm starting to feel guilty every time I press the accelerator. We should all feel that way to a degree. That will help us all band together, regardless of party, and demand action. Giving up and saying "it's too radical a change" is no excuse anymore. It has to eb done sooner or later. 9-11 made sooner the way to go. And drilling in our National Parks and wild-life refuges is no answer.
