"aren't you trying to get rid of a problem on your son's computer" Yes... absolutely, it's my son's computer and problem, but after looking at the links it seems like a good idea to have them on my own... unless you know of a reason not to have all of them. I have a gig of ram on both my desktops and my laptop so I don't think I'd be using too much in the way of resources. I don't even open e-mail attachments from anyone anymore unless they've told me they sent it. Maybe I'm becoming paranoid <VBG> after reading your posts... which by the way I thank you for and also thank all the other members of this great thread for their many assistances. BTW, have you upgraded to ZoneAlarm Pro 4 and if so... any opinions? Does their sending e-mail virus check conflict with NAV 2003 which I update daily and run with "Auto-Protect" enabled which also checks outgoing e-mails? Thanks again, Marty
