NFSC is the clearing arm of Fidelity. They do about 10% of the daily volume on the NYSE. They are the largest clearing firm, not just acting on the behalf of Fidelity, but on the behalf of a tremendous number of smaller, broker/dealers. Oh, by the way, the also act as specialists on many issues. greg
